Is something missing from your morning? The medicinal mushroom and superfood extract elixir '5+ secrets of China' enriches your morning coffee and your day with the tradition of Chinese herbalism.
We combined powerful Chinese mushroom extract powders and added three plants, creating a formula for energy and immune support. The combination of the world's leading medicinal mushrooms works synergistically — more powerfully than each would on its own.
Ingredients
Chaga mushroom*, reishi mushroom (ganoderma)*, cordyceps mushroom, maitake mushroom*, astragalus (huang qi)*, wild rose (rosehip)*, black pepper*. *Organic
Maitake mushroom — a traditional Chinese tonic with over 2,000 years of use. It is considered an adaptogen, meaning it may help the body manage its stress response better. Traditionally associated with immunity, blood pressure and the normalisation of blood sugar and cholesterol levels. A source of beta-glucans and polysaccharides.
Reishi mushroom — another adaptogen, with high levels of beta-glucans. It has been studied extensively in relation to inflammation and immune signalling, and for that reason is also linked with respiratory health.
Cordyceps mushroom — with centuries of use in the Chinese tradition. It has been studied in relation to heart health and inflammation, and has been the subject of preclinical research in other fields as well — these findings are laboratory findings. Of particular interest are its studies in exercise, where it has been linked with energy and oxygen utilisation.
Chaga mushroom — traditionally used for immune function. Its antioxidant properties are associated with reducing oxidative stress. An excellent tonic and detoxifier.
Astragalus (huang qi) — its root has been used as a popular herbal tonic in China for centuries. It contains flavonoids, free amino acids, trace elements and polyphenols, and is traditionally associated with immunity and with chronic fatigue.
Wild rose (rosehip) — one of the richest natural sources of vitamin C, with an antioxidant profile.
Black pepper — supports the absorption of the active constituents of the rest.
How to use
Always follow the label instructions. If you are on medication or have an underlying condition, consult a healthcare professional.
