When your order is dispatched
Most products are dispatched within 1–2 business days of order confirmation. For bank transfers, the time counts from receipt of payment. If a product is temporarily out of stock, dispatch may take 3–5 business days and we will notify you promptly.

Shipping costs within Greece
Free shipping on orders over €49
On orders over €49, shipping is free for the first 3 kg. If your parcel is heavier, you keep the free shipping and pay only for the extra weight, at €1.50 per kg.
Orders up to €49
Free shipping does not apply to orders up to €49. Shipping starts from €3.50 for parcels up to 2 kg. The exact amount is calculated automatically at checkout, based on the courier, the weight and the destination, and is shown before you complete your order.
Tip: combine your purchases into a single order over €49 to get free shipping.
Cash on delivery
Paying by cash on delivery costs an extra €2.50, on top of the shipping cost.
Order tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an SMS or e-mail with a tracking number so you can follow your parcel in real time.
Uncollected parcels
- ACS, ELTA: parcels are held at the courier's office for up to 7 days.
- Box Now: parcels are held in the locker for 48 hours.
- DHL (EU shipments): parcels are held at the local DHL office for a limited number of days. Please contact your local DHL office to confirm.
If you are unable to collect your parcel in time, please contact us and we will find a solution. If a parcel is returned to us without prior notice, the outbound and return shipping costs are charged to the customer. See our Returns Policy for details.
Shipping to the European Union and Cyprus
We ship to all European Union countries with DHL, from €18 (Cyprus and Malta from €20). For Cyprus you can also choose ACS Courier (from €9.60). The exact cost is shown at checkout, before you pay.
On EU orders over €200, shipping is free for the first 2 kg and you pay only for the extra weight.
Since all shipments travel within the European Union, there are no customs duties or import charges.

Chlorella is a single-celled freshwater alga containing the green photosynthetic pigments chlorophyll-a and chlorophyll-b in its chloroplasts.
Key properties
The characteristic feature of chlorella is that it binds toxins and heavy metals to its molecule and helps eliminate them. It also works as an antioxidant and as a complete nutrient food. Through photosynthesis it multiplies rapidly, requiring only carbon dioxide, water, sunlight and a small amount of inorganic constituents. With a single dose the body receives at the same time vitamins A, C, B1, B2, B5, B6 and B12, trace elements, proteins, fatty acids, chlorophyll, dietary fibre, antioxidants and amino acids.

In detoxification programmes and exposure to heavy metals, for interest in cholesterol and hypertension, when watching blood sugar levels, in digestive discomfort such as ulcer, colitis and constipation, and in athletic endurance.
Its usual uses
- Detoxification and heavy metals. It is among the best detoxifying foods, as it binds toxins and heavy metals to its molecule and helps eliminate them from the body. Published research has examined the enhanced elimination of tissue methylmercury in experimental models.
- Immune system. It stimulates the immune system and contributes to normal cellular development. A randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial examined natural killer cell activity and the early inflammatory response.
- Cholesterol and blood pressure. Research has shown that chlorella could be a factor in reducing both hypertension and blood cholesterol levels. It helps keep blood pressure in check.
- Blood sugar. It may improve blood sugar levels, with research interest focusing on the overall metabolic picture.
- Digestive system. The clinical literature includes reviews of trials in relation to ulcer and ulcerative colitis, while traditionally it is also used in constipation.
- Weight and fat cells. It could benefit people dealing with obesity, as it is examined in relation to reducing lipid accumulation in fat cells.
- Respiratory system and endurance. It may help in the management of respiratory conditions and in improving aerobic endurance, through oxygen saturation of the lungs.
- Antioxidant protection and DNA. It acts as an antioxidant. Research has examined the modulation of DNA damage and telomere shortening in human fibroblasts from individuals of different ages.
Preparation & dosage
Powder
The product instruction is 1 to 2 teaspoons per day for maintaining wellbeing and health, in a glass of water, in juice or in a drink of your choice such as almond or rice milk. In special cases the quantity may be increased under the guidance of a specialist.
Because chlorella has a strong detoxifying action, it is recommended to start with a small quantity and increase gradually, so as to avoid discomfort.
Quantities are indicative, based on traditional use and published phytotherapy literature. For prolonged use or if you are on medication, consult a healthcare professional.
Combinations with other herbs
It is classically combined with spirulina in detox and tonic programmes, as well as with wheatgrass or barley grass in green blends.
Precautions
Chlorella powder is generally considered safe, but it may cause side effects in some people: allergic reactions, sunlight sensitivity, swelling of the face or tongue, digestive disturbances, acne, fatigue, lethargy, headaches, dizziness and tremor. Most of these are typical of any detoxification programme. Chlorella supplements often contain iodine, so those who are allergic or who monitor iodine intake need particular caution. It is known to interact with immunosuppressant drugs and with anticoagulants such as warfarin. Those undergoing treatment or taking medication should consult their doctor before use. Expert opinion on safety during pregnancy differs, so pregnant and breastfeeding women should speak to their doctor.
