- Skin absorption. The molecularly small size of its fats explains why it absorbs quickly, without a heavy film.
- Hydration. Used as a natural moisturiser for face and body, with anti-inflammatory action on mild irritation.
- Hair. As a mask it is applied to the ends an hour before washing. On the scalp it can weigh hair down, so it is avoided there on fine hair.
- Makeup removal. It dissolves waterproof makeup without rubbing. On acne-prone skin, patch test first.
- Lauric acid and MCTs. Studied in relation to energy, metabolism and their antimicrobial properties.
- Purity. One ingredient, nothing else — no fragrance, colourings, preservatives or emulsifiers.
What it contains
- Lauric acid and MCTs, the characteristic fats of coconut
- Molecularly small fats, which explains why it absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a heavy film
- No fragrance, colourings, preservatives or emulsifiers — one ingredient, nothing else
- From fresh coconut flesh. Organic certification, vegan
Taste & texture
Distinctly tropical, with a sweet note of fresh coconut. At room temperature it is solid and creamy, above 24 °C it becomes a clear liquid — both are normal. In the smaller pack quality is easier to maintain, because it is used up over a shorter period.
In the kitchen
Ideal for skincare: as a face and body moisturiser, as a hair mask, as a base for homemade cosmetics. In the kitchen it comfortably covers baking and smoothies. If you use it daily for cooking, the 500 ml jar is the more economical choice.
How to use
In the kitchen: sautéing, baking, confectionery, or raw straight from the spoon.
In skincare: moisturiser, hair mask, base for DIY cosmetics or massage.
Store at room temperature, in a glass jar that protects quality.
Precautions & storage
In food it is high in saturated fat and consumed in moderation.
Below 24 °C it solidifies. It melts in the palm at body temperature — convenient for exactly this topical use.
